The real starting of applied research in the region of organizational behavior begins with Hawthorne Experiments. In the year1924, a group of professors starts an enquiry to the human features of work and working conditions at Hawthorne plant of Western Electric Company, Chicago. The findings of such studies were given a new name “human relations” the studies brought out a number of findings appropriate to understanding human behavior at work. The Human element in work-place was considerably more significant. The workers are affected by social factors and the behavior of individual worker is recognized by the group.
