While importing flat file definition just identify the scale for a numeric data type. In mapping, the flat file source supports only number data type (no decimal as well as integer). In the SQ associated with which source will have a data type as decimal for which number port of source. Source ->number data type port ->SQ -> decimal datatype. Integers are not supported. Therefore decimal is taken care.

Import field as string and then employ expression to convert it, so which we can avoid truncation if decimal places int source itself.
