Fundamental morphology of the protozoan cell
Explain the fundamental morphology of the protozoan cell?
Expert
Protozoans are eukaryotic cells therefore they contain organelles and structures common to this type of cell: endoplasmic reticula, digestive vesicles, Golgi apparatus, ribosome, mitochondria, nucleus through genetic material, karyotheca, and so on. All such elements are found scattered all through the cytoplasm. Protozoans do not contain cell walls. Protozoans from the mastigophora group (similar to trichomonas) contain flagella and others, others from the ciliated group (similar to paramecium) contain cilia.
