Ammensalism is ecological interaction in that an individual harms other devoid of acquiring benefit. Ammensalism is the inharmonious (or as well recognized as negative) ecological interaction since one participant is debilitated.
(Sometimes it is wrongly said that the ammensalism is a form of ecological interaction in that an organism librates in the environment substances which harm another species; this condition is indeed an example of ammensalims however the concept is not restricted to it.)
One of the best instances of ammensalism is the one established between humans and further species under extinction because of human actions like habitat devastation through fires, ecological accidents, leisure hunting, and so forth. Other example is red tide, proliferation of algae that through intoxication can lead to death of fishes as well as other animals.
