Explain the term Dip Switch.
Expert
A dip switch refers to a set of small switches that are found on the computer hardware which can be turned to ON or OFF position. Just like computer jumpers, dip switches are utilized to configure the computer peripherals like, the hard drives, sound cards, modems, and the motherboards. Today, with most of the computers utilizing the PNP, most hardware no longer need the manual configurations, so dip switches are not so common.
