Explain the vascular bundles? How does configuration of the vascular bundles in the stem differentiate monocots from the dicots?

Vascular bundles are the segments of the xylem and connected phloem which run longitudinally in the stem. In the dicots, vascular bundles are organized side-by-side making the concentric rings. In monocots, the vascular bundles are scattered and does not form the rings.
