Expert
The Dicoumarol is an anticoagulant drug. Due to its molecular structure, dicoumarol competes with vitamin K for binding to substrates jamming the making of clotting factors and interrupting the creation of prothrombin. Dicoumarol is found in certain vegetables undergoing decomposition, and it can cause rigorous internal hemorrhages whenever such vegetables are accidentally ingested. Coumarinic anticoagulants can’t be administered through pregnancy as they pass the placental barrier and can cause the fetal hemorrhages.
