Production Plans/Schedules: Production plans or production scheduling is a word which covers all aspects of operations, from workforce actions to product delivery. Production planning is nearly exclusively seen in manufacturing atmospheres; though, most of the methods utilized in production planning can be and are employed by many service-oriented businesses. Production planning is mainly concerned with the proficient use of resources. While it is at times termed to as operations planning, and it utilizes many similar techniques, the primary distinguishing feature is that production planning is focused on the real production, while operations planning appears at the operation as an entire.
