Explain Product Development and Engineering

Product Development & Engineering: It refers to the process of developing and designing a device, assembly, or system such that it is generated as an item for sale via some production manufacturing procedure. Product engineering generally entails activity dealing with issues of cost, reducibility, quality, reliability, performance, serviceability and user characteristics. Such product characteristics are usually all sought in the attempt to make the resultant product attractive to its intended market and a successful contributor to the business of organization which intends to provide the product to that market. It comprises design, development and transitioning to built-up the product.
