Expert
In males the sexual action is regulated by the adrenals and gonads (testicles), endocrine glands hypophysis (pituitary). The FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) secreted by the adenohypophysis takes steps on the testicles stimulating the spermatogenesis. The LH (luteinizing hormone), other adenohypophyseal hormone, stimulates the generation of testosterone by the testicles also. Testosterone, whose production intensifies following the start of puberty, acts in various organs of the human body and it is in charge for the appearing of the male secondary sex characteristics (beard, deep voice, body hair, maturation of genitalia and Osseous mass, increase of the muscle, etc.) Testosterone too stimulates spermatogenesis.
