The embryonic sac generally composed of three cells which remain next to micropyle, two lateral synergids and the central oosphere (egg); the polar nuclei, one binucleated cell, is placed within the central region; three antipodal cells remain in the opposite side to micropyle. As all these cells come through the mitosis from the functional megaspore they are haploid (n).
