Endocrine gland refers to the gland whose secretions are known as hormones are gathered by blood and send to the tissues through circulation. The adrenals and the hypophysis are the examples of the endocrine glands. Exocrine gland refers to the gland whose secretions are liberated externally through the ducts such as, into skin, intestinal lumen, mouth, so on. Salivary glands and Sebaceous glands are the examples of the exocrine glands.
