DNA fingerprint, method of the individual identification utilizing the DNA, is based upon the fact that DNA of each individual consists of the nucleotide sequences which is exclusive to each individual. Though the normal individuals of same species have same genes within their chromosomes, every individual has several alleles and even in the inactive portions of chromosomes there are variations in the nucleotide sequences among the individuals.
