Diseases of connective tissue are hereditary or acquired diseases (lots of autoimmune cause) characterized by deficiency/lack in structure or function of components of connective tissue, for illustration, deficiencies of collagen, elastin, and so on. Some of the diseases are lupus, cheloid, mixed connective tissue disease, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, mucinosis and Marfan's syndrome.
