There might as well be a suspicion which the method is too wide in its approach leading to big complex organizations perhaps missing or misinterpreting some risks. There is as well perhaps a hazard of avoiding or downplaying the lower priority risks, as we recognize if such risks are neglected they can frequently be the ones that sneak up to take us through surprise. The method is possibly as well too ambitious and complicated for smaller businesses or organizations and they could be better served by getting a much more piecemeal approach to the risk issues.
