Digital Image Processing Homework Using Matlab

The Homework is :

A. Import a color image.
B. Convert color image to gray-level image.
C. create a function to build image Histogram (Can NOT use "imhist") in this function
    - Take the intensity matrix as its first input
    - specified the number of bins n as its second input
    - Return a vector of length n to represent the bin counts
D. Display the histogram and compare with the histogram created by the Built-in Matlab fucntion by "imhist".

I need help in creating the function, can you turn me in the function by 48 hrs.
