How network Gateway is dissimilar from Routers?
Expert
Gateway: It is a device joined to multiple physical TCP/IP networks and is capable of routing or delivering IP packets among them.
Router: It is a layer 3 device which joins 2 different networks and routes packets of data from one network to the other. This breaks up Broadcast domain and also Collision Domain.
Suppose that a router has a loopback address of 135.77.9.254. Transform the loopback address to an IS-IS system ID.
