Explain that why the impulse invariant method is not preferred within the design of the IIR filters rather than the low pass filter?

Within this method, mapping from the s plane to the z plane is considered as many to one. Therefore, there occur an infinite number of poles which map to same location within the z plane, generating an aliasing effect. It is considered as not appropriate for developing the high pass filters. Thus, this method is not as much preferred.
