Expert
Ganglia (or singular ganglion), neural ganglia, are structures situated outside central nervous system (for illustration, beside near viscera or spinal column) made of concentration of the neuron bodies.
Examples of neural ganglia are ganglia which concentrate cell bodies of the sensory neurons inside dorsal roots of spinal cord and ganglia of myenteric plexus responsible for peristaltic movements of digestive tube.
In central nervous system (or CNS) concentrations of neuron bodies are named as nuclei and not ganglia.
