Expert
The Allosteric enzymes are those which have more than one activation center and to which other substances, which is called as allosteric regulators, bind. Allosteric regulators can be allosteric activators or allosteric inhibitors. The interaction between allosteric enzyme and allosteric inhibitor forbids the binding of substrate to enzyme. The interaction between allosteric enzyme and allosteric activator lets the binding of substrate to enzyme and sometimes raises the affinity of enzyme for substrate. This regulatory occurrence of the enzyme activity is named as allosterism.
