Charles Darwin was an English naturalist born in the year of 1809 and considered the father of theory of the evolution. At the ending of the year 1831, ere turning 23 years of age, Darwin embarked as the volunteer scientist on ship the Beagle for five year expedition to South American coast and Pacific. Throughout the voyage, whose most well-known passage was stop in the Galapagos Islands, Darwin gathered data which he employed to write his masterpiece “The Origin of Species” (1859). In this book the principles of common ancestry of all living beings and of natural selection as force which drives diversity of species were explained. Darwin died in the year of 1882.(The real name of the most prominent book written by the Darwin was “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection”.)
