Describe Productivity Improvement

Productivity Improvement: Productivity is affected by a diversity of factors, from the equipment employed to the attitude of the staff to the quality of materials. Enhancing productivity needs those factors such as these be addressed and mitigated and hence production builds up into expected standard of performance.

Productivity can be stated to have enhanced whenever more output is attained for similar input or whenever the similar output is attained for the less input. To enhance productivity, either the procedure itself, the equipment and machinery employed, the workforce or the indirect processes affecting production should be addressed.
