ASP.NET is the specification developed by a Microsoft to make dynamic Web services , Web applications and Web sites. It’s a part of the .NET Framework. We can create ASP.NET applications in majority of the .NET compatible languages, like C#, J# and Visual Basic. ASP.NET compiles Web pages and it provides much better performance as compared scripting languages, like VBScript. Web Forms support to produce powerful forms-based Web pages. We can use ASP.NET Web server controls to create the interactive Web applications. By the help of Web server controls, we can easily create the Web application.
