The word "biomedical" covers a vast variety of subjects: everything which relates biology to medicine. This can collection from the obvious such as Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Genetics to the less obvious such as Botany (most of the drugs were originally derived from plants and, therefore, such is a big science termed as Phytopharmacology).
