Screen painter : Screen painter is an instrument to design and maintain screen and its elements. It permits user to make GUI screens for transactions. Attributes, filed, layout attributes and flow logic are elements of Screen painter.

Menu painter : Menu painter is the instrument to design the interface components. Status, menu lists, menu bars, F-key settings, titles and functions are the components of the Menu painters. Screen painter in addition to menu painter both are graphical interface of the ABAP/4 applications.
