Define Faint

Faint, young sun paradox: The theories of stellar evolution point out that as stars mature on the main series, they grow gradually hotter and brighter; computations propose that at as regards the time of the formation of Earth, the Sun was approximately two-thirds the brightness that it is now. Though, there is no geological proof on Earth or on Mars for the Sun being fainter in the history. At present there is no clear resolution for this paradox.
