a) T helper cells (TH)
b) T cytotoxic cells. (TC)

T helper cells interrelate with antigen MCH II existed on APC (that is, Antigen presenting cell) and secrete cytokines. Such activate B cells, Tc cells and other phagocytic cells; such activated phagocytic cells kill microorganisms such as bacteria and protozoa.
