Breath forms the very root of our survival. Untiringly, unhindered and without a pause, it makes its way through all bodily pathways, while being silently and secretly hidden. The type of breath varies with different moods of a person. The cells in our body attain their energy by the combination of oxygen with a variety of nutrients, by which carbon dioxide is produced as a waste product. Therefore, they require a steady supply of oxygen and there is also the need of constant removal of carbon dioxide. All this is done by breathing, which is also termed as respiration or ventilation, which refer to the processes of inhalation and exhalation of air.
