Due to cutbacks at the organization you work for, the division you administer recently merged with the other division to minimize the costs. Our division works in teams the majority of the time, and due to the merger, new members have been added to each team. One of our team members comes to you upset about the merger. She feels as though other team members are shutting her out and will not listen to her.
As the team is getting divided so there is a relationship which they have been built have been feeling very bad so the energy of work is getting slow down the line which is obvious that a team will get upset because due to the merger thing which happened in the company due to cutbacks there will be new person coming in to the company and its sure and agreeable that they are not aware of all the persons and to manage the change and cutbacks in an organization is really pathetically devastating itself. It will increase the stress, frustration, absenteeism; mistakes, illness etc and also it will decrease the workforce and co-operation. So here I will explain you the answer of first question that how I will manage the team members and handle this difficult situation so the first idea which came in my mind is to make the existing employees understand the situation of the company and then I will make them aware and mix them all with each employees which could make the environment flexible. I will give them full support and trust which matters a lot and all things get in well and also I will make them feel they are important in work because as an existing employees I can’t lose the experienced employees from my company so I’ll try to motivate them with full rewards and recognition techniques and also I’ll make them feel encouraged and not being discourage from work. They should focus on work and I’ll make them feel about their career. One more thing which is important in this case for every employee is job security which I will provide them with all the means. I’ll change the perception of the people which will create the happy, healthy and energetic environment for employees as well as clients which can increase the profits as well and which will help in increasing the revenue and growth. I’ll put the team together and explain them that change is an inevitable thing on Earth which one should be prepared in advance. The responsibilities which needed to be played is more than what is expected which is a positive attitude and which will not break the key of success in any change. One should not forget that opportunities arise this time suddenly and not forget about the values they have in the workplace and in the company which might lead them to better life and will also provide them one NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) session basically for motivation and for the goal they have stick to the company from long which is a right place for them to work.
The steps I’ll take to ensure that she is heard are as follows:
There are conflicts in the organization and there will be a style in completing the job with a task force attitude. I’ll not over react to the situation and try to create a healthy environment and influence her with the goal of her’s. I’ll not talk negative and use negative approach which might create us in favor of loss. My most important role and job here is to control which I’ll do to ensure that she is heard and as per my above statements describe that I’ll use the motivation techniques and skills to ensure about her heard strategy. I’ll give them a responsibility and I’ll ensure her to complete it on time which really makes her feel important and not feel that I am under estimating her skills and talents. I’ll make her feel her presence and importance by not only awarding her with her performance but also giving her a feel of making a difference in our company. I’ll also explore the good behavior and the perception of her to behave very well and to ensure that she heard. I’ll change the perception of the people which will create the happy, healthy and energetic environment for employees as well as clients which can increase the profits as well and which will help in increasing the revenue and growth.
