Expert
Subneting is a procedure of breaking the network into minor units. Such units are termed as subnets. Here a subnet could be numerous machines in a single LAN. Networks employing IP can make sub networks of logical addresses. With each and every IP address there are some bits in the machine which can be employed to recognize a particular subnet. The IP address then includes three parts: the network, subnet, and the machine number.
