What will happens when the concentration of the auxin in some of the structures of the plant is over the action range of hormone?

In some of the parts of the plant like roots, stem, lateral buds there are auxin concentration ranges where the hormonal action is positive (that means it stimulate the growth). It is generally observed that the concentrations over the superior limit of those ranges have the opposite effect (that means it inhibits the growth).
