Communication within the corporate management team is critical to the success of the entire organization and to client relationships and therefore the financial success of the company. Company B values the contribution of its employees and wants to ensure that each employee has the skills and knowledge to communicate effectively in the corporate team environment.

The purpose of this training is to emphasize the importance of the individual’s role within the team and how their personal contributions can affect the team as a whole both positively and negatively. The tools to create both a team and individual action plans will be provided. This session will educate team members on basic personal and team collaborative communication skills and how to implement these skills. Team members will leave the session feeling empowered as part of a team that has the ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with the support of management and clearly defined goals and expectations for the team’s and the company’s future.

By the end of this training, team members will be able to:

2. Describe the impact communication has on an individual, the team, and the company as a whole

3. Identify the individual’s role within the team and their responsibilities toward communication within the team

4. Identify creative approaches toward communication through case study and participation in role playing exercises

5. Identify opportunities for improvement in communication via feedback from peers

6. Develop and implement both team and individual action plans for improving communication and building team collaboration and rapport

7. Establish a solid open communication with the new CEO and team leader and enable them to take leadership of the team’s communication.
