Archenteron is defined as the tube which is formed during the gastrulation by means of invagination of the blastula wall in the blatocele. It is described as the origin of gastrointestinal tract. Blastopore refers to the opening of archenteron to exterior. The blastopore provides birth to one of extremities of digestive tube: the mouth in protostome beings, or anus in the deuterostome beings.
