Biological troubles with molluscs
State some of the biological troubles which molluscs face due to their soft body?
Expert
Since their body is soft they are more fragile. As a result they face more difficulty in order to support their bodies in the terrestrial environments or to fixate to substrates in the aquatic habitats. Several species elucidate these problems by secreting the calcareous carapace, or the shell, they have an exoskeleton in order to support and shield them and to avoid dehydration.
