ADVANTAGE OF BIODIESEL:

1. Major advantage of biodiesel is its wide availability and renewable.

2. Dry land farming production of seeds like jatropha can increase agricultural output as well as increase the green of the land.

3. It can also be extracted from the recycled materials like seed press, vegetable waste, waste oils from cooking etc… even algae are used in the production.

4. Its clean in burning, very low in sulfur, no production of nitrogen oxides.

5. With modifications in the present engines, biodiesel can directly be used as fuel without any blend. fuel consumption, power, torque etc…aren’t affected.

6. Its bio degradable, hence no problem arises due to spill during transport via water ways.

7. Heavy duty applications, lubrication properties are add on features of bio diesel.
