AdRotator is the ASP.NET control which is used to offer advertisements to the Web pages. AdRotator control connects through one or many advertisements that randomly present one by one at a time when Web page is refreshed. AdRotator control advertisements are linked through links; hence, when one click on the advertisement, it redirects you to the another pages.

AdRotator control is linked with the data source that is usually the xml file or the database table. Data source contains all information, like link, advertisement graphics reference and alternate text. Thus, when we use AdRotator control, we should initially create the data source and after that associate it with AdRotator control.
