What do active transport and facilitated diffusion have in common? What are the basic differences between them?

Facilitated diffusion can be perplexed with active transport since in both processes there is a participation of membrane proteins.
In active transport though the transported substance moves against its concentration gradient and with energy spent. The Facilitated diffusion is a passive transport in favor of concentration gradient and it doesn’t need energy.
